FAVOURITE SKYNYRD SONG: THAT SMELL

Peter is a long-time rock and blues player hailing from Toronto. His bands include Symply Skynyrd and most recently The Bootlegger band. Previous bands include Aeroforce, Deuce, Essential Soul and The Monroes. In the early 2000’s he led Cloud 9 – a top cover band in the GTA.

1977 was a musical turning point for Peter. “Street Survivors was a true stand-out in rock and country rock for me. It was the Skynyrd album that got my attention. I bought the vinyl version with the original band photo (members on fire) and it had the 1977 tour dates insert. I’ll never forget the music and the triple guitar attack of Collins, Rossington and Gaines – it was simply awesome.”

According to Peter: “with Symply Skynyrd the idea was to showcase all the best Skynyrd songs and pay homage to their talent. We want this show to be one for true fans and for classic and southern rockers too.”

“THIS IS REAL FAN TRIBUTE BUT ONE THAT NON-FANS CAN ALSO APPRECIATE.
THERE’S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.”
