FAVOURITE SKYNYRD SONG: WORKING FOR MCA.
As bassist for Symply Skynyrd , Ernie began playing guitar at the age of 12, and following musical studies at RCM he quickly turned his attention to electric bass. The reason being there were no bass players for the RCM bands! Soon after, at the age of 15 he found himself performing live music in various legion and wedding halls across GTA in dance bands.
Being a teenager in the 70’s was a great time, having all the cool rock bands and songs around that are now considered classics. The “Blues had a Baby and called it Rock‘n’Roll” came in the picture and he never looked back. Blues and Southern/Classic rock is what he’s been playing over the last few decades, and hopefully for the next few decades.
